The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College was tapped by the Commission on Information and Communication Technology (CICT) as partner SUC in the implementation of the iSchools project in Region 1.
The iSchools Project aims to support efforts of the Department of Education to incorporate ICT in public high school education towards enhancing classroom learning and instruction. The project involves the provision of hardware equipment with 1-year Internet connectivity to the recipient hish schools as well as a series of teacher trainings on the use of ICT in teaching. ISPSC is tasked to implement the project to 11 public high schools in Region 1 (3 in Ilocos Norte, 3 in La Union, 2 in Ilocos Sur and 2 in Pangasinan) and 1 SUC in Abra (CAR).
